I also share this LOVE of Lisbon, such a beautifull, inspiring town! And at a human size... One does not feel lost in its streets, one does not feel crushed by the sheer heaviness of its skyscrappers...
When I was young and had more free time, I loved to walk it's streets, overlooking the river or climbing all the way up hill till the Castle.

Hi Isabel. How nice to hear from you again. Lisbon is looking beautiful and warmer than Cornwall! We are having ice and snow and the cold is going deeper into the earth every day. It is difficult to do our gardening work so we hope it does not last too long! The snow is beautiful, the schools are closed and my grandchildren have been making snowmen. Happy New Year

Mercury retrograde - everything twice! I am sorry to disappoint you but NGC 1097 is not our galaxy though it is a spiral like our own Milky Way Galaxy. It is 50 million light years away in the constellation Fornax and is thought to have at its centre a super massive Black Hole!! So really rather awesome.

I have used a quite normal camera, although digital. I have nothing special except my eyes... I look at things and see BEAUTY and then I want to share it...
